I know I'll probably never have the chance to experience this, but it doesn't hurt to dream a little. Definitely listen to this with some nice headphones on, or GOOD speakers.

On a different note, everyone (from SJSU in particular) is probably asleep now and getting ready for school, which starts in the next 6 hours or so for the early birds. It's hard and awkward for me to fully accept the fact that I'm actually not going to school anymore; it just so happens to be the only reason why I want to get a Master's degree, too: to get back in school. I don't really care about "how bad the economy is." I just value my education, and I want more of it.
This was probably my most random and personal moment for the blog, but if you just read this whole thing, I really do appreciate it --a lot.

word up event, corolla view.
sup guys.
the fatlace event was great, trying out the new 4.7 was awesome. i was finally laying smoke with it. i ran 195/60/14 re950 potenzas all day. because of the new 4.7 and the courses only being 2nd gear, i went with 50 psi and only went through 1 pair, so i was very happy about that.. from my previous events, i usually go through alot more tires even though im just stock 4ag. this is because my tires are usually old junkyard tires and im on 3rd gear with alot of psi in the 60 range, so the laminate inside rips and i get huge mounds on my tires. i once only went through 2 laps around thunderhill fulltrack with some shitty old toyo tires before i had to come back!
the course layout was very fun, the main course being the most entertaining. i havent drifted in almost a year, and it took a little bit to get back into the groove at first...i mean i wasnt spinning/straightening out too much, but wasnt exactly drifting or being consistent as i wanted to... but in the middle-end of the day i could link both courses completely and was driving alot more like i wanted. it was a nice day, and was satisfied. very chill event and i would definitely recommend to have a nice laid back time. i even got to hear fatlace play one of my highschool friend's joint on the loud speakers.
heres a quick video of me that shane from limitless motorsports took of me, and my cousin uploaded. also, theres another video up on my facebook, but im waiting on a friend to upload it to vimeo sometime and ill post it up here.
i decided to just spin the car when i realized i went too wide so i wouldnt run into a bunch of cones haha! that last loop was a little hard to read at first, but later got the hang of it. its the same loop im going through in the "smoke wall" (which i fucking love!) picture john posted in a previous post.
other then that there isnt much other media besides what you can see through the album links grady and john posted, so heres another picture that i like alot from those sets:

Breaks End...
Winter Break is ending and school is about to start Wednesday. I'm really looking forward to the New Year and semester.
Fatlace Word Up Event was really fun and I really want to attend another. Shooting for March hopefully.

So yesterday I put in an S14 Seat as passenger, bye bye Corbeau! Really like how the S14 seat looks and feels.

Looking forward for spring and warmer weather to come. I really want to go skim boarding & body boarding @ Rio Del Mar. I miss being at the water.

Final thoughts:
In no particular order, thank you Jason, John, Adrian, and David for pushing me to go to this event. I haven't had this much fun in a while, and it helped me forget some of the stresses of my "normal" life.
Super special thanks goes to Jason for letting me drive his car later in the day. This was my first time ever driving a 240, with a legit setup, AND with an SR. In fact, I've never drifted a car other than my own. Driving it made me laugh, and want my own 240 lol, but that doesn't mean I'll be getting rid of the miata.

Times Ticking!
2 Days till Fatlace Word Up Event!
I'm getting more and more excited. It has been a while since I last attended an Event.
To do list:
-Put the welded differential back on
-Fix Idle Problem
-Gather all the tools and Fluids that I need
-Wash Car!
-Adjust tire pressure on wheels and drift spares
-Fill up forms
-Relax and have Fun!
Repainted my helmet (rattle can bitch) =P Almost the same color as my car.
I really miss someone special to me!

Prep Work!
A week left, we are all pretty excited and the good news is Grady going now... Shit will be epic.
Rotors and Brake pads installed. I still need to mess around with my idle and adjust it a bit. All I have to do now is swap the welded back on.
Rakuwa Power Brace 3 Line is pretty neat.

Ah!
So 2011 is here finally and it's a fresh start. I'm really excited and curious on what is in store for me. I haven't really updated in awhile and I found some time to do so. Schools over and winter break has kicked in and I been really enjoying my time away from school and spending my time with the fam bam. It's really good to see my family.
Playing some weird ass Badminton game that my lil sister made up.

Prepping my car for January 15th Fatlace Word up Event!
I haven't driven my car in 2 weeks and drove my car to the family shop to prep it for the 15th.
I'll be running Crossed and Drilled Rotors with Nippon Brake pads. Since one of my rear rotors has warped on me when I Touged up Sierra to Piedmont.
Fixed a vacuum leak that goes to the brake booster and changed my head light... Yes, it's still a KA!
I'll update soon with my progress in getting my car ready for the 15th.
