Limitless Sonoma Skid Pad! 9.11.2011

I know I haven't been updating this blog like I promised, I'll be posting more.

So Sunday I attended Limitless Sonoma Skid Pad Event, had hella run time, met a lot of new people, and had a blast drifting with old friends. The only downside is a bent inner tierod from doing Ebisu Entries and Tire guy fucking up the bead on my BF Goodrich KDWs and the lip on my Viennas =(... I didn't let that ruin my day and still had a blast with my friends and my lady!

Catch Up!

I know it has been a while since I last posted. I have been really busy with school and work. A lot has happen since my last post and I will update this blog in a couple days.

On to the fun and exciting news, I will be attending Limitless Infineon Skid Pad at Infineon Raceway today. 3rd gear entry is definitely going to be crazy.

My car is ready for battle! =)


Updates:

Limitless GRIP DRIFT SKID 4: Had to cancel because I dislocated two fingers, which I will explain in a couple days. The cool part is Alex from Limitless is letting me have credit for their next Full Track Event.

Nos Tandem Drift School: Sadly this event was canceled because the owner was afraid of the liability and the SCCA disliking drifting.

im going to that nos event, grady and i will be halving the day using my car. im kinda sick of skidpads but this one will supposedly have a 3rd gear turn so i finally get to do that again. fun. i havent been updating much cause nothings really been going on, my car is the same and im just doing other fun things (like getting drunk and playing starcraft2). i do miss drifting, just kinda broke to do the events i really want to do because of where im at in university. oh well, drifting will always be there. =)

Kind of Old and Late

Was suppose to upload this on the same day but nope, didn't. Time's been flying by real fast; I'm already losing focus on things I'm suppose to do -- keep getting sidetracked (with good and bad things, though).

Went to visit my boss race at Leguna Seca and recorded some random stuff. Unfortunately his car broke down by the time I got there -- damn! Shit was raging before I got any chance to catch anything epic.

Summer!

It finally feels like summer. Nice warm weather, girls dressed all cute like, and handful of drift events happening. I'm really excited for the summer. I'm glad I found sometime to update this thing, a lot has happen.

Update (08/14/2011): So it turns out this is the miata that was sold from that dude Rob Rider (I think that's his last name) who originally built the car. I totally thought it was a new enthusiast that pulled off another sweet miata, but nope, not so cool anymore.

So I'm really glad my Viennas are back on my car and I'm really happy with how it turned out.

So finally done with the semester... hello summer break! =) I was able to check out my SSR Vienna Kreis at Team 3 Wheels and they look awesome. The only thing it needs are valve stem and I must say they aren't cheap. $15/ SSR Valve stem and $6 for extension piece and $10 for shipping, which add up to $88 including tax at the end... sadlife! =( I'm going to be broke ahaha at this pace! Valve stems doesn't come in till next Wednesday which equals more waiting...ahah

I'm finally back home home for a visit for Memorial Weekend! Eating really food for once from home was delicious.

I was able to snap a few pictures of the Work LS207 on my car before they go bye bye to their new Owner from Socal!

Break Time!

So I found sometime away from school, taking a break from my Solidworks Project! So I recently dropped my camera and it's totally fucked! So pictures would have to wait, but stay posted for those who actually read this thingy...

Coming up:

-In June I'm hosting a Drift Party Event with my friend Roy at ThunderHill Raceway. Pretty stoked about it. It will be happening on June 23rd!

-So after being rejected by 3 Wheel Repair Shops to fix my Viennas, I found a legit Shop located in San Leandro: Team 3 Wheels. I'm really excited that I really couldn't hold the news to myself. So I had them Re-barrel my front Viennas from 18x9 +6 to 18x10 -9 which gives me a 5 inch+ lip, I can't say no to that. I'm really stoked about it. =) .... The price was affordable too, which came out to be $300/wheel to re-barrel. I had to fix the bent one and re-barrel it for $300, so why not just do both front Viennas and make them both wider with whatever offset I wanted, Which came out to be $600 out the door. Satisfied!

-I'm done with Finals Later today pretty much after 2:45PM! and I'm stoked for the summer, but first things first I need to find another part time Job since my School Job is only during when school is in session. So I need to run around filling out apps! AHAHA really need to keep the money flow coming in.

-The sad note is I have to sell the Work LS207. I would love to keep them if I could. But hopefully this weekend I can snap a few pics with them on my car before they go bye bye! I really love the way they look.

Thoughts...

So it's true I am selling my beloved SSR Vienna Kreis. Just received a call from Wheels Technique that the bent wheel wasn't repairable unless I plan to re-barreled the wheel. "SAD LIFE" they have served me well.

The first picture I took when I first got them 2 years ago. =(


My new drift wheels came in and I'm still taking all the mix emotion in... =)
